Despite My Unwillingly Abbreviated Christmas, the 2018 New Theme

This week’s inspiration is going to be short, sweet, and unwillingly abbreviated, much like my Christmas weekend. More about my trip to the ER on Christmas Eve and spending Christmas in the hospital in future columns, but for now I’ll introduce you to my new theme for the year – #StayStrong.

Last year, I focused on every day being #better.

The year before, I was determined to find the shine in others, with #Sparkle.

But this year, it’s going to be about powering through the ups and downs that are sure to come. (And hoping I’ll be home from the hospital by the time you read this!) Yes, daily I’ll be reminding myself to do whatever it takes—mentally, spiritually, physically, and emotionally—to keep strong in the year ahead.
