Catching the Good

Catching the Good

Today’s inspiration comes from a quote that’s served me well during a few tough times last month.

“To improve the golden moment of opportunity, and catch the good that is within our reach, is the great art of life." — Samuel Johnson

“To improve the golden moment of opportunity, and catch the good that is within our reach, is the great art of life.” — Samuel Johnson

When life gets full and threatens to overwhelm, I try remember to “catch the good” within reach by taking some small action to make life better.

Maybe I’ll text a friend I haven’t seen in a while. Or water my thirsty houseplants. Or start reading a new book. Or even do something special or unexpected for someone else.

We don’t have to wait for good things to happen to us. We can find small actions to take today to make life better.

How about you? What small action can you take today to make your life better?

And on we go…

My best – always,
