Making Moments into Memories

Making Moments into Memories

Today’s inspiration comes from Gretchen Rubin:

Look for ways to record the fleeting memories that make life sweet but so easily vanish from memory. – Gretchen Rubin

Don’t you love that? Plus, it gives me permission to crystallize some memories that I don’t want to forget that have surely made life sweeter for me during the launch of my new book, Morning Fuel: Daily Inspirations to Stretch Your Mind Before Starting Your Day.

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind. So, per Rubin’s guidance, I want to capture these fleeting memories now so I can “pluck and polish*” them in the future:

What a wonderful time I had at The Ivy Bookshop signing on October 26. Thanks to all who joined me and to far-flung friends who ordered ninety books for me to sign! What a special day it was!

My time at Barnes & Noble was equally special! Thanks to those who came to spend the afternoon with me.

And thank you to those who came to the Baltimore County Public Library in Cockeysville last Thursday evening. It was the first time I had given a book presentation in almost seven years so it was wonderful to have a welcoming interactive group to join me.

And finally, a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the orders and participation in this book launch. I LOVE getting the pics, so keep them coming. And if I missed your submission, my apologies. Please resend!

heartfelt thank you to everyone

The memory-making season is coming soon! Time to “pluck and polish” some memories and capture those in process.

And on we go. . .

My best – usually,
