Today’s inspiration is a quick one, but one I’ve found to be consistently effective.
Life has gotten a little hectic — a surprise celebration at a Pathfinders For Autism event, visits with two new doctors to assist in Madison’s care, and a stubborn UTI that sidelined me yesterday with a fever and a third round of antibiotics!
Yikes!
So, I could certainly use a tip for a quick way to de-stress this morning.
Neuroscientist Andrew Huberman offers this suggestion:

One physiological sigh—a big inhale through the nose and then a second sharp inhalation through the nose, in order to maximally inflate the alveoli of the lungs, and then a long, extended exhale until the lungs are empty—is the fastest way to de-stress in real time. — Andrew Huberman
Even one can be effective.
Wow.
Works for me every time.
How about you? Could a de-stressing sigh benefit you today?
And on we go. . .
