Today’s inspiration comes from a plaque hanging in my writing area:

Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow.”—Mary Anne Rademacher

When I’m failing to make the progress that I want to make on a project, Rademacher’s words encourage me, reminding me that persistence isn’t just effort. It’s also courage—even when that courage doesn’t roar.

Doesn’t he look ready to try again tomorrow? I love his steely grit!
